This station is home to Pumper 125 and Grass Fire 124. Also during winter months it holds Marine Unit 1216.
125:
1998 RD Murray
1250 GPM Pump/850 gallon tank/12 gallons of foam
This pumper is housed at Station 2 at the corner of Backus and Dewitt Roads. This pumper is set up very similarly to the others in the fleet to streamline training and ease of operations. As with the other pumpers, aside from just pumping water, it also carries a rescue tool for use at motor vehicle accidents and most other tools to operate by itself for the first few minutes of a fire.
124:
2005 Pierce
1000 GPM Pump/500 gallon tank/20 gallons of foam
This pumper is housed at Station 2 at the corner of Backus and Dewitt Roads. This is a unique pumper in that it is 4 wheel drive and designed to access the off-road and limited access areas of the district. This pumper also tows the 18 foot Boston Whaler rescue boat to launch on Irondequoit Bay in the off season.
